Can Miconazole Cause A Yeast Infection

Miconazole not working while on antibiotics has a valid reason. Miconazole ( brand name Monistat ) only kills fungus, it doesn't prevent the fungus from coming back after you have finished your course of treatment? Antibiotics kill your body's natural defenses which is why they cause yeast infections in the first place. So your body then allows the yeast infection to return while you're still taking the antibiotics.

Creating a drug resistant yeast infection

Most women continue trying to cure their yeast infection with the miconazole even when the infection is returning. All this will do is create a miconazole resistant yeast that will become extremely difficult to treat. It doesn't matter how many times you try and kill the fungus, if your body allows the infection to return then you'll always be re-infected, and the infection will come back stronger every time.

What you need to do

To successfully treat your infection you must treat your infection from the cause. And the cause is your body's natural defenses being weak, and your immune system being weak. Most women can take antibiotics and not suffer with a yeast infection because they have a strong healthy body with strong natural defenses. If antibiotics causes you problems then your defenses need strengthening.

One herbal product that strengthens your body from the inside, and eliminates the yeast internally and externally is Candidol. Candidol doesn't work like drugs when it treats your yeast infection. It strengthens your body rather than just kills the fungus. This means that it kills the fungus and then prevents the infection from returning.
